Using one terabyte hard drives, RTX 400-QR can deliver up to four terabytes in a small footprint. The RTX400-QR is packed with more features and priced lower than its predecessor, the popular RT5. Meaning - you really can have it all.
The state-of-the-art RAID controller built into RTX400-QR offers RAID 0, 1, 10, 3, and the highly sought after RAID 5. RAID 5 is fast, ensures data safety and will continue to function in the event of a single hard drive failure. If a hard drive should fail you can keep using the unit with no data loss. To continue protecting your data simply replace the drive to initiate an automatic rebuild process.
If you're going to carry the RTX400-QR wherever you go, rest assured it will connect to most computers. With USB and FireWire, both common connectors, and the fast eSATA connector, you'll be ready for whatever you encounter and will be able to transfer data at up to a speedy 100MB/s.
This is CRU-DataPort's quietest RTX yet, thanks to low power consumption and quiet fans. When the fans spin (they won't unless the temperature gets high enough), they're so quiet they'll be hard to detect. You may actually think they're still idle.
Safely haul your RTX400-QR with a custom Pelican case, with room enough to store one RTX along with drives. Often serving the US armed forces, Pelican cases are extremely tough.
