Whether you perform incremental backups, swap out large amounts of data, or have your Fusion RAID system configured with a hot spare, it's always handy to have extra drive modules around. Fusion drive modules feature Enterprise/RAID Edition hard drives that are subjected to hours of additional, stringent testing to check for soft errors, vibration, and other reliability predictors just the sturdiest drives pass these tests and are prepared with special RAID-optimized firmware. Enterprise/RAID drives offer higher MTBF (mean time between failure) specs, carry longer warranties than "desktop" drives, and are the building blocks of a super-reliable Fusion storage system.
Compatibility
- Compatible in all Sonnet Fusion drive enclosures, except Fusion 400 with part numbers containing DT4 (i.e. ENC-SATA-DT4).
