The QuickerTek ExpressCard is a easy way for Apple MacBook Pro users to update their computers to 802.11 n wireless spec. This means full compatibility with the Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station. The ExpressCard brings the 802.11n draft with a high speed yield of 300 Mbit/second (far faster than the 802.11 g wireless standard). Additionally, the wireless range is increased up to three times the range of 802.11 g.
This card is best used without an Apple AirPort wireless card installed. It uses Apple drivers, so it is completely compatible with all the usual wireless networking hardware.
For all of you that don't have an internal Apple AirPort wireless card. Above is the ExpressCard that also comes with a powerful 5dBi external antenna. When you need more wireless range and speed, this product does it all.
This ExpressCard is 802.11a/b/g and has 300 milliwatts of power. That means you get TEN TIMES the power of the stock MacBook Pro! And, you can find and connect to just about any wireless network out there.
