All StarFlash kits come with the powerful NEW FlashFire wireless system which includes one FlashFire receiver per StarFlash head and one FlashFire transmitter per Starflash kit. The FlashFire enables photographers to fire StarFlash heads at distances up to 164 feet (50 meters) for improved versatility when shooting portraits, events, and fast moving subjects.
With the 150 watt StarFlash in a 5-foot OctoDome, you'll have professional quality soft light with a 5 f-stop range. The OctoDome gives you a large soft box that is not as deep as rectangular boxes, so you can fit it into smaller spaces. The OctoDome also utilizes a variable density interior baffle to create edge to edge even illumination. The OctoDome has removable inner gold and silver panels, for modifying warmth and contrast of light output. The StarFlash Tilt Swivel Mount is secure and easily adjustable for soft box weight compensation. The kit also includes our heavy-duty medium LiteStand.
The StarFlash 150 is our lower-range strobe offering variable power up to 150 watts per second. This is a monobloc head designed for the seasoned professional and the emerging photographer.
The StarFlash uses high-quality German flash tubes. The modeling light can be set at full brightness or proportional to the flash tube light output.
