Universal Locking makes it perfect for our small crane systems such as the CobraCrane I and the CobraCrane Backpacker, as well as virtually any lightweight tripod systems.
Adding wheels to your CobraCrane is a snap with the addition of the CobraCrane Lightweight Freewheeling Dolly System. Designed for smaller crane systems that need to be mobile and not confined to a track. This wheel set will give you an added dimension of professionalism and production values usually found in system selling for over five times as much. Made of a super light weight material it is light weight, yet extremely durable and rugged. It also folds down to make stowing and transport a breeze.
The convenient carrying handle makes carrying the CobraCrane Freewheeling Dolly even that much more convenient, plus a handy soft carrying case is also included, free.
The wheels are made of soft rubber, so they resist bumping and jarring on "not so smooth" surfaces. That makes this system ideal for "trucking" (moving left and right of subject) and "dolly shots" (in and out of subject). Imagine the production values this will add to your video or filmmaking. This system mates real well with the CobraCrane I and the CobraCrane 1 BackPacker our lightest cranes. The universal locking system used to mount most any tripod, makes it ideal for use with most all small tripods on the market.
The three inch diameter wheels feature individual locking mechanisms for positive locking into a fixed position. Each wheel's surface is made of a soft rubber material, designed to withstand small bumps and imperfections on an otherwise smooth floor. The wheels are Ball Bearing Mounted to insure a super smooth rolling action.
