The 12-inch G4 iBooks are excellent value for the money when obtaining any portable with a G4 processor. With its warmer white "snow" case, it's a great computer for school or for those who don't like the look and feel of the silver PowerBooks.
The 12-inch G4 iBooks are thoroughly modern in their wireless capability with USB 2.0 ports and Airport Extreme and Bluetooth slots.
They are only able to run OS 9 ('Classic') applications under emulation, i.e. they are not 'dual-bootable' (they must boot into OS X).

- RAM: PC2100 DDR SDRAM. Maximum RAM: 1.25 GB total
- On the 1.33 GHz model, PC2700 DDR SDRAM is used with a maximum of 1.5 GB total
