This Card adds 3 FireWire 800 ports capable of up to double the transfer-speed efficiency of the original FireWire technology. It provides a seamless connection for DVD, CD-ROM, or external hard drives, and allows you to connect multiple computers and devices simultaneously. FireWire 800 provides real-time data-critical for streaming video or audio applications. The Belkin FireWire 800 3-Port PCI Card provides excellent results for bandwidth-intensive transfers with high-speed external disk drives, portable storage devices, digital audio and video, and home entertainment components.
