Sonnet's Fusion R400P is an economical and easy-to-deploy solution for reliable, flexible, high-performance storage in studio, control room, and mobile installations. Based on the award-winning Fusion R400Q quad interface storage system, Fusion R400P features a fast eSATA interface and an integrated port multiplier to manage the data flow from all four drives. The 1U rackmount Fusion R400P system enclosure, at just 1.75" tall, is simple to install in most server racks. Drive presence and drive activity LED indicators are present on the front panel, so drive status can be determined at a glance. Fusion R400P sets up quickly and supports simple software-configured storage according to your needs: RAID 0 storage for speed, RAID 1 for redundancy, and JBOD for audio editing and archiving. Fusion R400P is ideal for use in mixed environments various operating systems, editing applications and output demands requiring the flexibility and interoperability that this storage system provides.
The Fusion R400P (0TB) storage system offers the same great features as Sonnet's other R400P models, but without the hard drives. Performance, capacity, and RAID reliability are dependent on your choice of drives.
