The iMac VESA Adapter Kit provides a method for attaching the
Apple iMac all-in-one 17-inch and 20-inch computers to VESA
compliant mounting systems; providing the solution for iMac
models that are not VESA compliant to mount to walls and
desktop arms.

The Adapter Kit integrates with the iMac's stand using our patent
pending fastening system, eliminating the need to remove the
base or modify the iMac in any way. This feature allows for the
Adapter Kit to be user-friendlier, maintain the integrity of the
computer, and ensure that warranty is not voided due to
disassembling the iMac. Once the Adapter Bracket is attached to
the VESA mount, the fastening system allows for the iMac to
mount to the Adapter Bracket quickly and easily.

New 2007 iMac: With the previous model 17-inch and 20-inch, the
cable port (hole) located on the stand is 50mm wide. The new
2007 iMac offers the same stand with a modified cable port that is
slightly wider and tapered. We have created an insert to meet this
modification and will include this insert with every kit. Please note
that VESA compliant mounts used for mounting the 17-inch and
20-inch iMac is required to have the 100mm x 100mm (approx. 4"
x 4") hole pattern.
