Super Secret Twitter Giveaway: LaCie d2 Quadra Hard Disk 500GB Hard Drive
Sunday, November 20, 2005 / PowerMax Culture
If you’re reading this chances are you’re one of PowerMax’s Twitter followers, and you get to participate in one of our super-secret Twitter giveaways. In honor of LaCie’s recent announcement of their super cool 1 year free online backup service, we’re putting a brand new 500GB LaCie d2 Quadra Hard Disk Drive up on the chopping block.
This professional hard disk is both Mac and PC compatible, and comes with a quadruple interface: 2 x FireWire 800 ports, 1 x FireWire 400 port, 1 x Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port. Retail value is somewhere in the neighborhood of $229.99. Not too shabby!
You’re almost certainly saying to yourself “How do I enter to win such an awesome freebie?” Well, to enter, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post letting us know your iTunes library total play time (zero is a valid answer, if you don’t use iTunes).
You’ll need to comment before 2:59 PM PST Thursday, November 20th 2008. You can enter once with an original comment below, but here’s the kicker - you’ve got two additional ways to enter! You can enter again if you blog about the contest and link back to us - or Tweet about the contest and include @powermax_news. Just include links to your entries in your comment below. After the contest closes we’ll pick a winner at random, post a congrats and ship this prize to the lucky person. Give us a couple days to ship out this massive pile of swag. To win you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the US. For full eligibility details, we suggest you read our official rules. Good luck!
EDIT: The posting date of 2005 is an issue with our Wordpress install. Sorry for any confusion, this contest is very much for November 20, 2008.
UPDATE: Congrats to Pastor Dale - our LaCie Giveaway winner! Thanks to everyone for entering.

I, too, would like a free drive.
November 20th, 2008 at 12:28 pm
my classic 160 tells me that it’s got 64.8 used, 84.0 free (some of that’s 3358 photos and 18 podcasts) and since it’s along, the external drive my iTunes library is on stayed at home for my cycle in to work this morning, limiting the cargo load to about 30lbs
it’s 14651 songs, but am unable to access the weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds count shown at the bottom of iTunes currently - retweeting now!
November 20th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
On this particular machine it’s only 9.8 days, but my other two are at a month and a couple days and I think like 1 month 16 days and some.
Nice contest!

1.7 Days is all I have in my iTunes. However, that’s because I’m on my travel laptop, I’m sure my desktop has much more…
Thanks for the chance to win…
November 20th, 2008 at 1:19 pm
My library’s current play time is 14.2 days of music, 4.5 days of TV shows, 11.7 days of podcasts, and 6 days of audiobooks.
HOWEVER… I don’t know the total, because I have never had enough free space to put all my media in one place! So it’s scattered between computers, with some older stuff I don’t usually listen to or watch much any more even archived on DVD to free up hard drive space.
Hint, hint?
